scrolling background of the ages

Will your game require a scrolling background? If so, how will affect your game? Will it be used in your introduction, action sequences, etc?

I would like for our game to include a scrolling background. This is something that my gaming partner and I need to talk about. A scrolling background would make it so it's not all one screen and it would be more interesting.
